Join Us!

Students, alumni, and friends of EKU,
Thank you for your interest in Photons for the future! This multifaceted project positions EKU as a leader in non-polluting energy technologies. Starting with a handful of solar panels installed with the Science Building Phases I and II, we hope to power an increasing number of EKU’s facilities and activities through our most abundant energy source—the sun! Will you join us by communicating the challenges and opportunities associated with energy generation and usage, by inspiring communities to live sustainably, or funding additional solar panels?

Photon Fellows
Photon Fellows are EKU students past, present, and future who promote environmental responsibility and sustainability, broadly defined. We celebrate their contributions through scholarships proportional to the energy costs savings realized through EKU’s solar panel array. We are currently accepting applications for the first Photon Fellowship, to be awarded in Fall 2017. Use our application form to tell us about your contributions. Deadline: September 30th, 2017

Photon Friends
Join us as we grow the EKU solar panel array and its impact on the Campus Beautiful. All contributions to the Solar Energy Fund will be used to purchase, install, and maintain solar panels that provide energy to EKU. In turn, the savings realized from these panels will fund Photon Fellows. Our first goal is to add 100+ panels to the Science Building array. Give now!
